  • Maintain a tidy office environment and company vehicle.
  • Perform weekly inspections on company vehicles.
  • Utilize proper tools, conduct regular tool inspections, follow tool instructions, and clean tools as necessary.
  • Assist in Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Identify safety concerns through inspections and implement necessary corrections.
  • Communicate with the Safety Liaison to address safety issues.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Identify and engage with existing and potential customers within the assigned territory, fostering positive relationships.
  • Drive profitable growth by effectively communicating the value and uniqueness of our products and services.
  • Advise customers on maintenance and repair strategies to minimize overall costs.
  • Develop and maintain the technical expertise necessary to promote our parts and service offerings.
  • Acquire and retain product knowledge regarding AGCO equipment and all products offered by Agri-Service.
  • Assess customer needs and devise effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance customer relationships.
  • Assist customers within 24 hours of equipment delivery, focusing on maintenance and care.
  • Provide timely and accurate quotes for parts and service requirements.
  • Embrace integrity, quality, and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Work closely with business partners, store teams, and corporate support on warranty and product-related matters.
  • Advocate for safety within Agri-Service, adhering to all relevant safety policies and standards.
  • Align with and promote the corporate vision, purpose, values, and goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated understanding of parts and service offerings.
  • Ability to develop and maintain knowledge of AGCO and Agri-Service products and services.
  • Capability to assess customer needs and enhance satisfaction.
  • Ability to quickly identify issues and approach work with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft, CDK, and OneAGCO is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with planning and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to set and manage priorities effectively.
  • Ability to operate and maintain company vehicles.
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of working independently.
Education and Experience:
  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Preferred minimum of two (2) years of sales and/or parts and service experience.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.
  • Must possess proficiency in English (speaking, reading, comprehension, writing).
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods, as well as walk, stand, climb stairs, reach, push, pull, lean, and twist.
  • Must meet all safety requirements as outlined in applicable safety policies.
