Key Responsibilities- Answering Calls: Respond to incoming calls in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate and helpful information to patients and their families.
- Scheduling Appointments: Schedule appointments for new and existing patients, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and entered into our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Managing Patient Information: Enter patient demographics, insurance, and referral information into our EMR system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Canceling and Rescheduling Appointments: Cancel and reschedule appointments as assigned, ensuring that patients are notified and updated on any changes.
- Working with Manager/Director: Work as directed by the Manager/Director, performing other relevant duties as assigned.
- Effective Communication Skills: Ability to fluently speak and read English, as well as communicate effectively with all levels of staff and patients.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required; prior medical office experience preferred.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in EMR systems.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and patient satisfaction.
The Contact Center Coordinator will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a moderate noise level and standard lighting. The employee will be subject to diseases and conditions that exist in a healthcare setting.
