The Junior Territory Sales Manager for Surgical will support and report to the Director of Sales (DoS) in managing and facilitating Surgical cases within a specified region by leveraging knowledge of our products, geographical landscape, and facility dynamics.
This position involves time spent in hospital operating rooms, surgical centers, and medical offices.
This role serves as an entry-level opportunity to gain exposure to a medical device surgical sales environment.What qualities are essential for success in surgical sales at Bioventus? If you possess the determination, we will provide the necessary training.

Key Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains expertise in Ultrasonic and Bone Graft Substitute product lines.
- Provides case support for designated accounts.
- Identifies upselling and cross-selling opportunities and collaborates with Territory Managers to enhance account growth.
- Assigned sales targets based on territory alignment and expected to consistently meet and exceed these goals.
- Assists in the coverage of local meetings.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS);
- Preference for candidates with backgrounds in nursing, surgical technology, paramedic experience, or B2B sales.
- Experience in medical sales and hands-on anatomy lab experience is advantageous.
- A valid driver's license in one of the 50 United States is required.
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, including proper phone etiquette.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Highly detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Exhibits a sense of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
- Strong decision-making skills, sound judgment, and critical thinking abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
