The Assistant Nurse Manager serves as a registered nurse who employs critical thinking abilities to oversee clinical operations within the department while collaborating with various healthcare professionals. This role includes both direct and indirect supervision of the care provided by all staff members in the department. Additionally, the Assistant Nurse Manager may undertake house supervision responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Certifications relevant to specific areas of expertise are preferred.
Minimum Experience
2-3 years of registered nursing experience in a clinical setting
