Job Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with Front Desk Attendants to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Sanitation and Organization: Ensure staff adheres to high standards of cleanliness and organization in the front of the house.
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Plan, organize, and control the operations of amusement areas to provide an exceptional guest experience.
  • Scheduling and Training: Assist with scheduling employees and train Front Desk Attendants and Porters to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Leadership and Communication: Meet weekly with the General Manager to discuss progress, identify areas for improvement, and coordinate advertising and promotions.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Security: Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure it is in good working condition, and ensure the security and proper handling of company property.
  • Guest Service and Support: Provide excellent guest service, answer inquiries, and respond to guest needs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • POS System Operations: Confidently operate the POS System to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Complimentary Shift Paperwork: Provide all required complimentary shift paperwork with settlement in a consistent and organized manner.
  • Announcements and Communication: Make announcements to guests over the P.A. system regarding specials, promotions, and other important information.
  • Pit Crew Communication: Communicate with pit crews, operate call buttons, relay information, log calls, and check response time.
  • Vending Machine Management: Perform various duties related to vending machines, including removing, counting, and recording vending money, restocking items, and performing opening and closing duties as required.
  • Safety and Incident Reporting: Enforce safety rules, report hazards, monitor guests for rule violations, and respond to injuries or other incidents by providing first aid, calling ambulance/police if necessary, and completing proper paperwork.
Job Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of guest service experience, 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Office user with strong organizational skills.
Work Environment
  • Noise Level: The noise level can be loud and may contain lighting effects such as lasers and strobes.
  • Crowd and Children: This job requires working with large crowds and children.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and Walking: Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Lifting: Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Long Hours and Weekend Work: This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
