Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at SumBridge. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing of payroll, maintaining employee records, and providing administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify employee timecards and reconcile them for transmission to payroll.
- Prepare real estate commission sheets for approval and process payroll entries.
- Collect and review miscellaneous payroll payments, including wellness reimbursements and annuity commissions.
- Accurately input payroll data, verifying and reconciling amounts prior to submission.
- Reconcile ACH files to Direct Deposit Registers and load them onto electronic banking systems.
- Generate and reconcile general ledger entries, loading them onto Horizon for posting.
- Run post-payroll reports for payroll binders.
- Reconcile 401(k) export files and load them onto administrator platforms.
- Review suspense accounts and DDA to ensure clearance by month-end.
- Process stock awards through payroll as needed.
- Enter and process SERP payments and monthly unit plan payments.
- Monitor taxable fringe benefits to ensure proper reporting on W-2 forms.
- Enter and respond to garnishments, tax levies, and other payroll-related items.
- Research and respond to inquiries from management and staff in a timely and courteous manner.
- Assist with recruiting functions, such as postings, employment ads, interviews, and job fairs.
- Maintain pre-employment assessment and screening processes.
- Respond to questions and requests for assistance from staff and management, building team and personal relationships.
- Serve as backup to Sr. HR Generalist and Human Resources Manager.
- Ensure HRIS systems are utilized to potential, updating and developing as necessary.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years of professional work experience, with banking experience preferred.
- An AA or BA in business, accounting, or a related field.
- Preferably three to five years of previous payroll processing experience.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, including demonstrated experience using Word and Excel for Windows.
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines and priorities with minimal supervision.
- Initiative and leadership abilities.
- Must have proven team-building skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
Estimated Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
