Job Summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse RN to join our team in the Freestanding ER department. As a Registered Nurse RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients of all ages, from minor injuries to acutely or critically ill patients.
  • Assess and triage patients, prioritizing their needs and providing appropriate care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • ACLS within six months of hire.
  • PALS within two years of hire.
