The position is committed to meeting departmental efficiency, quality, and service benchmarks to achieve operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
This role entails managing the scheduling, rescheduling, and organization of outbound referrals.
Daily tasks include:
Core Duties:
- Overseeing the Multi-Patient Task List; facilitating the scheduling of outbound referrals, procedures, and tests as requested by providers.
- Assisting patients at checkout and preparing them for subsequent service areas as directed by providers.
- Managing 'Reminders' to ensure patients are scheduled for follow-up appointments.
- Performing additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle is highly preferred.
- Requires a solid understanding of patient registration and financial clearance processes.
- Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exhibits effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate within a team and foster cooperative relationships.
- Proactive in taking initiative and achieving set objectives.
