We are seeking a dedicated Genotyping Research Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Production Genotyping laboratory. In this role, you will collaborate with a large group of enthusiastic scientists to achieve daily and weekly genotyping objectives within stringent timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct both manual and automated laboratory processes in a PCR environment.
  • Engage in sample preparation, PCR execution, and general laboratory maintenance.
  • Work collaboratively with a production team to meet operational targets.

Essential Skills

Hard Skills

  • 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, preferably in biology.
  • Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
  • Experience in high-throughput production and sample management.
  • Proficient in operating and troubleshooting laboratory automation independently.

Soft Skills

  • Demonstrated reliability and flexibility, especially during peak operational periods.
  • Strong communication abilities to facilitate teamwork.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Work Environment

You will collaborate closely with 3-4 colleagues on your shift, within a larger team of approximately 45 individuals across all shifts. The team culture is characterized by a productive, results-oriented atmosphere with effective communication between shifts. Expect a high-volume workload in a casual yet focused environment.
