Job Title: Guest Services/Front Desk Agent

At Holiday Inn Express JC, we're looking for a skilled Guest Services/Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, handling transactions, and ensuring a seamless stay for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring a memorable experience from check-in to check-out.
  • Manage guest bookings, up-sell opportunities, and provide local insights to enhance their stay.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions, as well as start every stay right by swiftly checking guests in and out.
  • Stay one step ahead of guests' needs, recording and acting on their preferences, and handling their messages, requests, questions, and concerns.
  • Be a trusted contact for all guests, helping them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and looping in management when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle guest concerns and compliments effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn issues into opportunities and create great memories for our guests.
  • Fluency in the local language, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
  • Literacy and technical skills, with a good grasp of reading, writing, basic math, and computers.
  • Flexibility, with the ability to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • A high school diploma or qualification, with a college or university degree being a bonus.
  • Experience in a front desk or guest service position, with at least one year of experience preferred.
