Position Summary
Our exciting Manager-In-Training (MIT) program offers you the chance to learn and develop within a well-established company with over 45 years of experience.
As our newest associate, you will participate in a tailored interactive program that includes hands-on and computer-based training, lasting approximately sixteen (16) weeks.
The program encompasses various aspects of managing your own account, including:General Training & Comprehension
- Learn and execute the responsibilities of housekeeping, heavy housekeeping/floor tech, and laundry worker roles, while mastering the operation of various industrial cleaning equipment.
- Assist in training, quality control, and inservicing of staff in accordance with policies and federal/state regulations.
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure compliance with quality standards, inventory levels, safety protocols, and customer service expectations, adhering to applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain records of income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment in a report format for HCSG and Facility management.
- Assume responsibility for training, quality control, and inservicing staff to meet HCSG standards, including conducting regular assessments of work quality.
- Manage responsibilities such as payroll submission, staffing patterns, effective coaching, purchasing, inventory maintenance, and budgeting.
Safety -Utilize protective gear as required. Ensure safe mixing and use of cleaning solutions while adhering to all safety guidelines. Report equipment or cleaning product needs to supervisors promptly. Maintain established standards and safety protocols.
Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
Maintain proper reporting, isolation, and handwashing procedures.Punctuality -Consistent attendance and timely arrival are essential. Complete assigned cleaning areas according to schedule and respond promptly to paging systems.
Customer Experience -Represent HCSG positively by following instructions and maintaining courteous interactions with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
Resident Experience -Engage in positive and respectful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Qualifications
Exhibit a positive attitude with the ability to follow both oral and written instructions, performing routine tasks consistently.
Upon completing training, utilize leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently while ensuring safety for oneself and others.
Basic computer skills are necessary for maintaining records and completing reports as needed, including web-based reporting.
Must be able to adhere to scheduled work hours and arrive on time.
Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as mandated by State, Local, and/or Customers.
Must be capable of lifting/carrying a maximum of 50 pounds, pushing/pulling a maximum of 50 pounds, and standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
