This position requires a skilled individual with a strong background in desktop support and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills to effectively assist users in a hybrid work environment.
Key Qualifications:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in technical support roles.
- Proficient in customer service and desk support.
- Familiarity with Active Directory management.
Essential Skills:
- Experience providing tier 3 support or equivalent to customers.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot virtual machines on Windows platforms.
- Proficient in managing various Windows operating systems, including Windows 11, 10, 7, and XP.
- Knowledge of virtual networking, particularly with VMware Player.
- Experience with Microsoft management tools within Azure, such as Active Directory and Intune.
- Understanding of IT security principles and a commitment to implementing security best practices.
- Familiarity with operational technology (OT) environments is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in assisting customers facing challenges.
- Possession of a valid US driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy OT Privileged Access Workstation (PAW) devices, including system configuration and user credential management.
- Conduct training sessions for users on the effective use of their OT PAW devices.
- Provide ongoing support to users, addressing issues both in person and through virtual channels.
