About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rare Disease Sales Specialist to join our team at Kyowa Kirin. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in establishing our company as a leader in the rare disease market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the rare disease market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, including endocrinologists, geneticists, and rheumatologists.
  • Provide clinical knowledge and support to healthcare providers to ensure they have the necessary information to make informed decisions about patient care.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing plans and promotional materials.
  • Manage patient identification and access to therapy, ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment options.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest clinical research and developments in the rare disease market, and communicate this information to healthcare providers and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales, with a focus on rare diseases.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the rare disease market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare providers and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic business plans.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in executing marketing strategies at the local level.
  • Demonstrated business and strategic planning skills, with the ability to identify unique selling opportunities and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Strong collaboration skills and success working in teams.
  • Experience selling a product that requires extensive coordination with patient services.
  • Working knowledge of rare disease and the managed care landscape.
