Position: Healthcare Administrative Coordinator
Role Summary: You will serve as an Administrative Coordinator with a background in healthcare environments, contributing to the efficiency of patient services.
Compensation: $26.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in and check-out.
- Welcome patients and address initial inquiries regarding their appointments, payments, and schedules.
- Handle multi-line phone systems, directing calls and taking messages for healthcare staff and providers. Ensure necessary verifications and authorizations are completed prior to patient consultations.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers on scheduling preferences and respond to urgent patient needs.
- Support doctor-patient interactions using available reference materials and tools.
- Perform various administrative duties, such as maintaining databases and processing internal documentation.
- Utilize telephone systems and electronic medical records effectively in daily tasks.
- Meet or exceed service standards set by the organization and department.
- Respond to non-clinical inquiries and messages, escalating issues as necessary.
- Manage incoming faxes, mail, and filing of relevant documentation.
- Facilitate timely patient care and treatment, applying critical thinking and sound judgment, especially in complex or urgent situations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
- Entry-level candidates, including recent graduates, are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
- Proficient in computer systems and software relevant to the role.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service abilities, problem-solving skills, and capacity to manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of Windows-based office applications and operating systems.
- Ability to tailor communication to meet the needs of various audiences.
- Composure in high-pressure situations.
