Key Responsibilities:

Role Summary: Operate under general and remote oversight

  • Install and commission new equipment at client sites for optimal functionality
  • Identify and resolve machine and process issues remotely
  • Deliver on-site service, diagnostics, and repairs for equipment
  • Offer technical and process support via phone to clients
  • Manage parts orders, software assistance, and other essential support requirements
  • Educate clients on-site regarding general maintenance and operational practices
  • Embrace travel opportunities (up to 70% weekday travel during peak periods)
  • Thoroughly document and report all activities

Goals and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve 100% customer satisfaction through comprehensive machine commissioning and interactive training
  • Ensure 100% ongoing customer satisfaction through accurate diagnostics and effective repairs
  • Maintain 100% compliance through meticulous pre-visit checks, on-site assessments, post-visit documentation, and follow-ups
  • Adhere to 100% company standards through reliability and commitment to established processes

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical assembly drawings
  • Experience in diagnosing control systems, drive systems, PLC systems, and PC systems
  • Proficiency in mechanical system replacement and precision alignment
  • Knowledge of optical processes (experience in the ophthalmic industry is a plus)
