Job Summary

Del Norte Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Financial Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our members and supporting the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the administration of loan and deposit platforms, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records and track incoming and outgoing titles, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Administer and maintain the Skip-A-Pay program, providing support to members and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Perform a variety of loan account file maintenance tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide universal dual support to other loan-related areas, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Promote a needs-based member education culture, identifying opportunities to promote credit union products and services that align with our mission of improving lives.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, contributing to the success of the department and organization.
  • Comply with all regulations, security procedures, and complete all mandatory annual compliance courses.
Requirements
  • One to three years of similar or related experience in financial services or operations.
  • A high school education or GED.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with members, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent communication and PC skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Collaborative service skills, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional member service.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
