Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a functional area of payroll operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve payroll efficiency and effectiveness, working closely with outside departments and customers to establish projects and priorities.
  • Provide advice and counsel to senior management on payroll-related matters, including performance metrics and budget management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop key relationships and strategies for support, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across teams.
  • Manage department budget and cost activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards, maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy in payroll operations.
  • Accountable for end results, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of payroll experience, with a strong background in payroll operations and management.
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Solid Microsoft Office Suite skills, with expertise in Excel and experience with Tableau and dashboard creation.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal colleagues, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Must have reporting and data analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data insights.
  • Must have global exposure to other lines of businesses, with a strong understanding of international payroll regulations and practices.
Education

Bachelor's/University degree, with a Master's degree preferred.
