Job Summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing business analysis for HR and Payroll operations, creating and implementing internal procedures and business requirements, and developing and implementing user application test plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform business analysis for HR and Payroll operations organization
  • Create and implement internal procedures and business requirements
  • Develop and implement user application test plans; execute test plans and identify discrepancies
  • Resolve discrepancies with technical and/or business personnel, implement corrective measures, and retest as needed
  • Interpret data and make recommendations
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets
Requirements
  • 2-4 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area
  • Specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data
  • Strong communication skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite knowledge (especially Excel)
  • Leadership mentality
  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
