Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced English Language Educator to join our team in the Greater Dayton Area. As a TESOL Teacher, you will play a crucial role in inspiring and supporting English Language Learners (ELLs) in our community.

About the Role

This part-time opportunity involves delivering high-quality English language lessons across different educational settings, conducting language proficiency assessments, designing instructional plans, and collaborating with other teachers and school staff to promote academic success and social integration for ELL students.

  • Develop and implement engaging English language lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Evaluate student language proficiency and inform instruction to address individual academic and functional needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver comprehensive instructional programs.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A TESOL or TEFL Certificate.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • A Teaching License issued by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE), preferred.
  • Spanish fluency, preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with ELL students in a classroom setting, a plus.
