Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Manufacturing Associate. This position is ideal for those who thrive in hands-on environments and have experience in production settings. The Manufacturing Associate will be integral to our operations, focusing on routine manufacturing tasks while collaborating effectively with team members to meet departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency in manufacturing areas by sanitizing surfaces, disposing of waste, and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Keep accurate daily records of activities, production yields, quality assessments, and maintenance logs, both on paper and using company software.
- Safely operate all manufacturing and packaging equipment as directed by management.
- Produce a variety of products and ensure proper labeling and packaging standards are met.
- Work efficiently to fulfill product orders in a timely manner.
- Assist in Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes for all products manufactured.
- Adhere to safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment as required.
- Employ sanitary practices and maintain high personal hygiene standards essential for the production of medical products.
Work Environment:
This role involves manual labor within a manufacturing facility, requiring attention to detail and active participation. Daily use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, gloves, and safety goggles, is mandatory to ensure the safety of all personnel.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in computer usage and capable of accurate data entry.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Competence in performing repetitive tasks accurately.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
- High manual dexterity is essential.
