Transformative Education Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Coach to join our team at I Dream Public Charter School. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in empowering students with diverse needs to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to co-plan and co-facilitate instruction, ensuring a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide accommodations and strategies to enable students with disabilities to access grade-level content.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet their evolving needs.
  • Co-teach in a multi-grade classroom, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary, Early Childhood, Special Education, or Bilingual Education.
  • Special Education or ESL/TESOL certification.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience working with students with disabilities or English learners in an inclusive setting.
  • Experience in writing and monitoring Individualized Education Plans.
  • Experience in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and writing Behavior Intervention Plans.
