We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our physicians and patients.
Key Responsibilities- Register patients, verify insurance information, and accurately code diagnoses and procedures.
- Process payments, manage cash drawers, and balance daily reports.
- Assist patients with questions and concerns, and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely billing and coding.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a technical specialty preferred.
- Basic understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
