Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with cancer, implementing and evaluating patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, and document patients' conditions, communicating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, adhering to physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs, educating patients and their families to ensure a smooth transition.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • One year of current acute care RN experience; military RN experience considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
