Position Overview: Commercial Loan Officer
Are you an accomplished financial expert with a talent for cultivating strong relationships and driving commercial loan performance? If so, we are eager to connect with you. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Loan Officer to enhance our Commercial Lending division.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Loan Officer, you will play a crucial role in our lending operations. Your primary focus will be on driving loan production, managing service delivery, and ensuring profitability while nurturing relationships within our commercial loan portfolio. Your responsibilities will encompass identifying new business opportunities, proposing tailored loan solutions, ensuring compliance, and maintaining a high-quality portfolio.
Specific Duties:
- Enhance Our Service: Uphold our mission, vision, and values by ensuring all commercial lending activities reflect our commitment to excellence.
- Optimize Documentation: Collect and prepare essential loan documentation, including title searches and UCC searches, and oversee the preparation of documents for loan closings.
- Ensure Compliance: Review loan documentation to identify and rectify issues, ensuring adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and Coordinate: Manage tickler reporting, collaborate with internal departments, and address customer inquiries with professionalism.
- Innovate and Educate: Serve as a subject matter expert on commercial lending software, assist with training, and manage additional staff as the department expands.
- Stay Informed: Keep abreast of all loan products and software systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Experienced: A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in commercial lending or related fields, along with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a similar discipline.
- Analytical: Strong analytical skills with a solid background in credit underwriting and portfolio management.
- Communicative: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas effectively and engage with clients and team members.
