Job Summary

Omicrown is seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney to join our team as a key member of our litigation department. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in court proceedings, conducting thorough legal research, and developing case strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Clients in Court Proceedings: Represent clients in trials, hearings, and depositions, and provide expert legal advice to ensure favorable outcomes.
  • Conduct Thorough Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Draft and File Legal Documents: Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, to ensure compliance with court requirements.
  • Engage in Discovery: Engage in discovery, including taking and defending depositions, propounding and responding to written discovery, to gather evidence and build strong cases.
  • Negotiate Settlements: Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and provide expert legal advice to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Clients and Parties: Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other parties involved in the litigation process to ensure effective communication and case management.
  • Prepare and Present Compelling Arguments: Prepare and present compelling arguments in court to persuade judges and juries.
  • Maintain Accurate Case Files: Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation to ensure efficient case management.
  • Stay Current on Developments: Stay current on developments in personal injury and civil litigation law to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) Degree: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar: Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5 Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Civil Litigation experience.
  • Proven Trial Experience: Proven trial experience with a successful track record.
  • Excellent Research and Analytical Skills: Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Exceptional Negotiation and Communication Skills: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to Manage Multiple Cases: Ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively under pressure.
  • High Level of Professionalism: High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
