Job Title: Service Advisor Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor Assistant to join our team at Chevy Chase Acura. As a key member of our service department, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences and providing top-notch service to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promptly answer inbound phone calls and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Perform outbound calls to follow up with customers and assist advisors as needed.
  • Meet and greet customers, providing exceptional personalized service and representing the dealership in a positive manner.
  • Test drive vehicles with customers to confirm problems or refer to technicians.
  • Research vehicle service history, inspect vehicles, and recommend additional needed services.
  • Assist advisors with advising customers on the importance of properly caring for their vehicles and the value of maintaining them.
  • Provide complete and accurate written cost estimates for labor and parts, establish a "promise time," and follow up as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with technicians working on customer vehicles.
  • Assist advisors with monitoring the progress of vehicles throughout the day and keeping customers informed of their vehicle's status.
  • Obtain necessary payment and signatures from customers.
  • Perform loaner agent duties, including creating agreements, performing walk-arounds with pictures, collecting on gas fees, and returning loaners.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Great people skills.
  • Experience in customer service industry.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds.
  • Strong phone skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and Chrome.
  • Ability to handle high volume of customer interaction.
