Job Title: IT Technical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Project Manager to join our team at Softworld Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex IT projects, overseeing project planning and execution, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple IT projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources to meet project deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate resources, and communicate with project stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT management, staff, and external vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that projects are delivered with minimal disruptions to business operations.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, assessments, charters, plans, metrics, resource logs, issue logs, status updates, and project closing documents.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing IT healthcare and construction projects using sound project management methodologies, principles, and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing and allocating resources to complete projects on schedule.
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills to assess, analyze, organize, and monitor project progress and risks.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully organizing and managing multiple projects, with varying workloads, in a dynamic team environment and coordinate resources in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience in conducting technical assessments, preparing reports, and recommending results and solutions, concisely and clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working with IT infrastructure and equipment, including but not limited to desktop equipment, clinical equipment, infrastructure, low voltage systems, etc.
  • Build professional, cohesive, and collaborative relationships with team members, customers, and project stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and explain technical problems in non-technical terms.
  • Proven ability to work with high-level administrators, leaders, faculty, staff, and unsophisticated users effectively.
