Job Summary

This position reports to the Director of MH Integrated Finance and leads the annual operating and capital budgeting process for the MaineHealth Integrated Services, including Information Services, Human Resources, Finance Services, Quality & Safety, Strategic Planning, and Clinical Service Lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assure accurate accounting practices and prepare the MaineHealth Integrated Services monthly financial statements and variance analysis process.
  • Serve as the financial consultant and business manager for Integrated Services operational departments.
  • Supervise the Integrated I.S. finance staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or significant related field.
  • Five or more years' experience in accounting or finance and the analysis of accounting reports.
  • Experience in a health care environment to obtain a considerable knowledge of principles and practices of hospital financial management.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with both internal and external personnel in multiple disciplines, on a variety of complex issues.
