Job Overview

M3 Placement is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to join their Syracuse-based sales team. This role will drive new business development, provide consultative sales services, and support the entire customer lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify potential new business opportunities in the Syracuse market and develop strategies to target specific counties and industries.
  • Conduct market research and build relationships with clients to expand our market share.
  • Schedule and lead in-person client meetings to understand workplace needs and offer customized solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of client projects.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and manage CRM system entries and updates.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
  • 1 – 2 years of related experience in consultative sales or business development.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience with CRM software and valid driver's license.

Benefits
  • $55,000 - $70,000 expected base salary range, plus revenue-based commission structure.
  • Full Time, 40-hours per week, Onsite schedule with some flexibility.
  • $300 guaranteed monthly expense reimbursement and additional mileage reimbursement for travel.
