As a Retail Sales Associate at Wilco, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service across all store departments. Your responsibilities will include addressing customer inquiries, providing product recommendations, and ensuring the store environment is well-maintained. You will also support the area specialists and assist with various tasks throughout the store, including operating cash registers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service and product knowledge on the sales floor.
- Process transactions, assist customers with their purchases, and ensure a smooth checkout experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the departments according to established guidelines.
- Perform cashier duties and assist with other store, yard, or warehouse responsibilities as needed.
- Open and close the store as directed by management.
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and team members.
- Understanding of sales techniques and strategies.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
