Job Summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive behavioral health treatment for children and adolescents with common conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and conduct disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments using evidence-based practices to inform treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment modalities to support patients' mental health and well-being.
  • Collaborate with our care team to develop and implement treatment plans that address patients' unique needs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community mental health providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Monitor patient progress and quality of care, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Work closely with patients, families, and the care team to overcome obstacles and achieve treatment goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices by participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from a program accredited by the American/Canadian Psychological Association (APA).
  • Psychologist license in the state(s) practicing.
  • At least 2 years of experience post-licensure in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care and experience working with children and adolescents.
  • Previous experience providing teletherapy and crisis intervention is a strong asset.
