We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health Program at PM Pediatric Care. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive behavioral health treatment for common conditions seen in primary care, such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders.

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments that adhere to evidence-based practices.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy for patients using evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Participate in collaborative care team meetings to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop strong relationships with community mental health providers to facilitate referrals and care transitions.
  • Monitor patient service quality and progress for referred patients.
  • Complete required documentation, including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and implementation in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team to overcome obstacles in treatment.
  • Maintain licensure and professional development as required by the licensing board.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from a program accredited by the American/Canadian Psychological Association (APA).
  • Psychologist license in the state(s) practicing.
  • 2+ years of experience post licensure.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Ability to effectively interact, work, and develop meaningful relationships with people of various cultural backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care.
  • Previous experience providing teletherapy to children and adolescents.
  • Previous experience with crisis intervention.

Compensation:

Compensation is dependent upon location and experience.
