GENERAL FUNCTION

The Associate Optometrist plays a pivotal role within the organization, upholding the brand promise and contributing to key performance outcomes through effective collaboration and teamwork. This position ensures that all patients receive exceptional Optometric care by adhering to clinical protocols while fostering growth through a strong partnership with the management team and staff. The Associate Optometrist is dedicated to achieving performance metrics and serves as a prominent representative of the brand both internally and externally, driven by a passion for excellence and high standards.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborates with the management team and store personnel to ensure operational excellence and successful outcomes. Demonstrates a commitment to surpassing performance metrics through proficient KPI management and accountability. Establishes the brand as the premier optical provider within the local community. Functions as a key stakeholder to all leadership within the organization and the surrounding market. Prioritizes patient/customer satisfaction and delivers outstanding service. Strives to exceed expectations across all performance indicators. Commits to providing unparalleled Patient Service by ensuring staff follows essential service protocols: Addressing all patients' visual lifestyle needs, making tailored eyewear recommendations, explaining each step of the eye examination, and actively listening to patients. Effectively utilizes available tools and visual aids to summarize and clarify each aspect of patients' vision, eye health, and overall well-being. Communicates the importance of annual eye examinations to patients and ensures appointments are scheduled accordingly. Conducts all services in alignment with established protocols and accepted standards of care. Guarantees that all patients receive accurate diagnoses and appropriate recommendations. Fosters a positive Doctor/patient relationship. Leverages technology effectively to enhance patient/customer experiences. Maintains office systems and ensures compliance with operational standards. Holds a valid State Licensure in good standing and practices within the full scope of that license, while fulfilling Continuing Education requirements. Provides effective training and guidance to team members utilizing company-provided programs. Offers clear, motivating, and constructive feedback to all associates in a timely manner. Cultivates a positive workplace culture aligned with corporate values, identifying individual motivators and directing conversations and actions accordingly. Encourages decision-making at the associate level closest to the patient. Maximizes partnerships through leadership, participation, and engagement. Takes pride in maintaining the appearance of the office. Ensures a safe working environment for all associates and patients. Leads by example.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Doctor of Optometry Dedication to high-quality patient care Knowledge of contemporary Optometric theory and technology Strong communication and listening skills Problem-solving capabilities Solid organizational skills

​Pay Range:

Employee compensation is determined by various factors, including geographic location, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. Additionally, a competitive bonus and/or commission plan may be offered, complementing a comprehensive total rewards package.
