Your Role:
The Seasonal Customer Service Specialist is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing calls from clients, addressing their inquiries, and resolving any concerns they may have. This position requires active listening and a proactive approach to customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound communications with clients to understand and resolve their needs, complaints, or issues related to our services.
  • Provide accurate and timely responses to client inquiries, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all verbal and written interactions.
  • Take ownership of customer issues, conducting thorough research and escalating when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a customer service or call center environment.
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent active listening abilities.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Empathetic and patient approach to customer interactions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficient in computer usage and quick to learn new technologies.
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems.
  • Willingness to gain in-depth knowledge of Jackson Hewitt's offerings.
