Job Summary

The Practice Coordinator is a vital role within our healthcare team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our practice location. This individual will provide exceptional customer service to patients and clinicians, while also maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage front desk activities, including greeting and checking patients in/out, and providing support with scheduling and billing inquiries.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, and peers to ensure seamless patient care and clinician satisfaction.
  • Conduct schedule prep process to ensure all paperwork and documentation is complete, and patient charts are prepared.
  • Perform general office duties, including sorting mail, scanning documents, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide support to clinicians with administrative tasks, such as sending letters and faxes.
  • Manage queues within the phone system to ensure timely call handling and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in healthcare operations, customer service, or a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
  • Proficient in using computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and EMRs.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, with a strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
