  • Safety and Sanitation: Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Lowes Foods standards, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, orientation, training, and feedback to ensure bakery department hosts achieve satisfactory performance standards.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service as necessary to achieve standards, maintain departments labor budget and scheduling standards, and perform PA announcements.
Requirements
  • Personality: Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well with others, including training and development of team members.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand information and direction, knowledge of bakery operations, and effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
  • Education and Experience: Must be at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior experience in a bakery or retail environment.
