Job Summary

We are seeking a back-up driver to join our delivery department. This role will report to the shift supervisor and involve driving a tractor trailer in a commercial setting.

Responsibilities
  • Read work orders to determine production specifications
  • Identify, locate, and pull the correct door slab and components
  • Modify the door slab as necessary to meet specifications
  • Operate various machinery, including routers, saws, and pneumatic drills
  • Physically move the door from one production station to another
  • Inspect work to identify defects and quality issues
  • Perform light maintenance work and clean the shop
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of recent driving experience in a commercial motor vehicle
  • Class A CDL with authorization to drive a manual truck
  • Satisfactory criminal history and motor vehicle records
  • Satisfactory PSP and DOT Clearinghouse reports
  • Acceptable pre-hire DOT drug screening
  • Ability to obtain a new medical card
  • Ability to routinely back a tractor trailer into tight spaces
  • Ability to use forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck
