Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Key ResponsibilitiesDirect Patient Care:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and gather patient medical histories.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests and imaging studies.
- Perform therapeutic procedures such as immunizations, suturing, and wound care.
- Provide guidance to patients on adherence to treatment plans, health maintenance, and emotional well-being.
- Enhance patient experiences by embodying our values of Transforming Care through courteous and accurate service.
- Demonstrate proficiency in assessing and delivering age-appropriate care.
Clinical Administration:
- Develop and implement management plans for patients, documenting progress and ensuring continuity of care.
- Adhere to organizational protocols while working under the supervision of licensed physicians.
- Stay informed about organizational initiatives and actively promote our mission and goals.
Education: Master’s Degree required.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current unrestricted license to practice in California, along with a furnishing permit for FNP candidates.
- DEA license.
- BLS certification.
Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) are preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease concepts.
- Understanding of patient care processes and clinic operations.
- Ability to take detailed medical histories and conduct thorough physical examinations.
- Competence in working with diverse patient populations.
Compensation: Annual salary range of $147,000 to $199,000, based on experience.
Neighborhood Healthcare mandates that all employees are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and must provide proof of vaccination or obtain an exemption for medical or religious reasons.
