- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Administrative and Clinical Duties
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and medical records
- Order and perform diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and laboratory tests, and interpret results
- Develop and implement patient education plans to promote health and wellness
- Professional Development
- Stay current with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices in primary care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Education and Certification
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a nurse practitioner program (MSN required)
- Certification by a professional organization (e.g. ANCC, AANP)
- Experience and Skills
- Minimum one year of clinical experience as a CRNP in a primary care or ambulatory care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software
- License and Registration
- Current, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment
- Current DEA registration
