At Scale AI, we are accelerating the development of AI and seeking a Government Relations Lead to support our Congressional Engagements related to Government Funding. This role will join a rapidly growing team with the opportunity to manage and execute Congressional engagement with a primary focus on Appropriations.

The successful candidate will have a history of successfully driving policy outcomes, a solid understanding of Congressional processes and procedures, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities include managing Appropriations portfolio on behalf of the Company, supporting efforts to shape future year funding at various Agencies, and advising and briefing Scale Leadership on policies impacting Artificial Intelligence Policy.

Required skills and qualifications include between 4-6 years of experience in Legislative Affairs or working in the Government, experience successfully securing provisions in the Appropriations process, and a history of managing multiple work streams simultaneously. Nice to haves include Security Clearance and a history working within a startup environment.
