Job Summary

Hummingbird ABA Therapy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Behavior Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ABA services to our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Analysis

Organize and maintain data collection and statistical analysis systems for programs, ensuring accurate and timely data entry and analysis.

Behavioral Assessments and Program Implementation

Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, working closely with clients and their families to achieve their goals.

Clinical Supervision and Training

Direct clinical activities and provide training to staff and parents, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to implement effective ABA programs.

Confidentiality and HIPAA Compliance

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA protocols, ensuring the secure handling of client information.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

A Master's Degree in ABA or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services. Licensure as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, or certified registered nurse practitioner is required. A PA Behavior Specialist License (BSL) is preferred and will be required within 3 months of hiring.

Certification and Training

Certification as a BCBA by the BACB, or a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a BCBA, or a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA approved by the Department or provided by a continuing education provider approved by the BACB.

Work Environment

This is a non-traditional setting that may include environments made up of multiple family dynamics. Behavior consultants may complete indirect/remote hours from their home or a private space, with HIPAA regulations being followed. This position involves seeing clients in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, daycares, and community locations.

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel up to 15% of the time with clients within designated areas for work. Behavior Consultants are required to have their own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage and travel time between clients.
