Job Title: Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Dewberry Engineers Incorporated. As a key member of our Water and Wastewater team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex instrumentation and control systems for water and wastewater treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement instrumentation and control system designs for water and wastewater treatment plants
  • Coordinate with process engineers to develop Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Provide technical guidance and quality oversight for all project work involving instrumentation and controls
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of instrumentation and controls engineers
  • Establish and improve standards, practices, and guidelines for instrumentation and controls engineering
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 1 year
  • 7+ years of experience in water and wastewater instrumentation and controls, or industrial, chemical, or mining experience
  • Control system networking expertise
  • Good verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills
