Job Title: Benefits & Wellness Manager

Dentons US LLP is seeking a highly skilled Benefits & Wellness Manager to join our team in Chicago or Phoenix. This is a hybrid position that requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of daily administration of benefit plans, including client service, claim resolution, and vendor management.
  • Develop and implement the Firm's Wellness Program, including designing, planning, and executing initiatives to promote employee health and well-being.
  • Lead the Firm's Wellness Committee and collaborate with benefits vendors and HRIS team to implement and maintain benefits administration within the benefit system.
  • Prepare annual benefits budget and explain variances to Finance, as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including ACA and non-discrimination testing.
  • Manage the Firm's COBRA vendor and oversee administration of retiree programs for all eligible participants.
  • Coordinate internal and external reporting requirements specific to benefit plans, including Federal 5500 plan year reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7-10 years of benefits experience, with knowledge of Hawai`i benefits law and state and local paid leave laws highly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of benefits management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively work in and respond to a fast-paced environment, frequently requiring support outside of regular business hours.
