About the Internship

Baird is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our IT Service Desk team as interns. As an IT Service Desk Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working with a team of experienced professionals to provide technical support to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional client service using effective communication and troubleshooting skills to resolve client issues and fulfill requests.
  • Utilize knowledge management systems to troubleshoot client issues and document, track, and monitor client incidents and requests in ticketing systems.
  • Provide technical support for all corporate hardware and software, including remote support and offsite IT support.
  • Shadow current team members to experience Baird's culture and receive mentorship from an experienced team member.
Requirements
  • Pursuing Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, MIS, or related degree.
  • Targeting May 2026 or later graduation dates.
  • Technical knowledge of Windows Vista/7, Microsoft Office 2007/2010, and basic technical skills with prior troubleshooting hardware and software support experience.
  • Previous experience installing or assembling computers is preferred.
