Baird is a global financial services firm with a thriving culture and a commitment to inclusion and diversity. We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our IT Service Desk team as an intern.

The IT Service Desk Intern will provide technical support and services to Baird associates across the country, working in a complex technical environment of over 500 different software applications. This is a unique opportunity to apply knowledge gained in the classroom to develop relevant professional experience while developing meaningful relationships.

As an IT Service Desk Intern, you will:

  • Provide technical support for all corporate hardware and software, including remote support and offsite IT support
  • Utilize knowledge management system when troubleshooting client issues
  • Document, track and monitor client incidents and requests in ticketing system to ensure timely and accurate resolution
  • Experience Baird's culture by shadowing current team members and receiving mentorship from an experienced team member

We are seeking local students who can start in May 2025 and are pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, MIS or related degree. Technical knowledge of Windows Vista/7, Microsoft Office 2007/2010 is required, as well as basic technical skills with prior troubleshooting hardware and software support experience.
