Position Overview:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - General ObGyn

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to enhance our ObGyn team at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. The successful candidate will exhibit a high degree of independence and exceptional proficiency in identifying and managing both existing and potential health concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive clinical care that includes both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities. This encompasses patient evaluations, diagnostic testing, treatment plan assessments, therapy orders, and interprofessional communication.
  • Collaborate with over 160 healthcare providers within our network, ensuring seamless referrals to specialized care.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Nurse Practitioner: Must possess a Master of Science in Nursing and hold an active RN license from the Missouri Board of Nursing or a multi-state RN license.
  • Physician Assistant: Must have licensure from the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.

Preferred Credentials:
  • Nurse Practitioner: Specialty certification from recognized bodies such as ANCC or AANPCB.
  • Physician Assistant: Certification from NCCPA in relevant specialties.
