About the Position

We are seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained academic radiologist to join our team at UofL Health in Louisville. The position is at the proposed rank of Assistant or Associate Professor and is commensurate with experience. A fellowship in body or abdominal imaging is required.

Responsibilities

The Body Imaging division at UofL Health includes supervision and training of 20 Radiology residents in the interpretation of Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound. This section covers a busy workload of inpatient and outpatient cross-sectional imaging of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis as well as a portion of the CTA examinations of the extremities.

Additional Information

Staff will cover imaging services at all of the hospitals in the UofL system where the sub-specialty group is again responsible for Body CT, MR and US. Conference participation includes multidisciplinary tumor boards 2-3x weekly in the areas of Pulmonary, Genitourinary, and Gastrointestinal malignancies; resident case conferences and core didactic lecture conferences.

Research Opportunities

While optional, if interested, the desired candidate will have a strong research record of publications or other evidence of scholarly activity.
