About the Role:

The Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Tech) performs radiographic examinations according to established protocols set forth by the medical director. This position requires a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique, as well as knowledge and awareness of radiation protection and safety during all radiographic examinations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares for and assists the radiologist with intricate radiographic examinations.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media in accordance with hospital policy and procedure as well as state and federal regulation.
  • Maintains knowledge and awareness of radiation protection and safety during all radiographic examinations.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of JRC-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
