The Vice President of Operational Excellence will collaborate closely with the Chief Operating Officer and executive leadership at IASIS Healthcare to spearhead organizational initiatives and bolster both clinical practices and administrative functions.
This pivotal role aims to enhance clinical, operational, and financial outcomes by implementing evidence-based best practices throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the strategic vision of IASIS Healthcare.
- Engage proactively with the Chief Operating Officer and other senior leaders to ensure that daily reporting, project management, and monthly presentations are updated and accurately reflect the latest data trends and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical management teams to oversee and ensure appropriate service utilization in line with established standards through educational initiatives.
- Operate within a complex, matrixed environment to guarantee that reporting, projects, and timelines are adhered to across all initiatives.
- Work closely with leadership to ensure that provider feedback, market trends, and emerging issues are effectively communicated to the senior leadership team.
- Regularly meet with senior leaders to ensure that business objectives remain relevant and on target.
- Partner with medical group leadership to design and implement innovative operational and financial models aimed at reducing costs, enhancing efficiency, improving quality, and elevating service within IASIS Healthcare markets.
- Develop and disseminate best practices among IASIS Healthcare Practice Directors and other practice leaders.
- Collaborate with HR leaders to formulate and execute training strategies that enhance organizational capability, focusing on increasing employee skills and leadership effectiveness, particularly in optimized practice operations.
Qualifications:
Master's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree required.
10+ years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams while improving processes in alignment with corporate strategic goals.
Proven capacity to apply disciplined thought processes and dynamic problem-solving skills to business challenges, including managing and prioritizing potentially competing objectives.
Ability to oversee the financial and operational dimensions of primary care sites and/or supporting departments.
