Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salon/Retail Store Manager to lead our Soho salon and retail store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing a team of beauty professionals, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the salon and retail store, ensuring seamless execution of all functions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the business, leveraging client loyalty programs, events, product knowledge, and services.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire qualified staff members, working closely with HR to ensure a cohesive team.
  • Manage the selling floor and salon floor, focusing on client retention and satisfaction.
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness in the stockroom, break area, bathroom, and other areas of the store.
  • Partner with HR and Headquarters to ensure compliance with Store Operations and Loss Prevention policies.
  • Conduct regular store meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and feedback.
  • Manage inventory, merchandising, and window displays to enhance the GLAM standards.
  • Cross-department coordination for product launches, marketing, sales, and online support.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly sales goals, establishing and evaluating Touch Bases with each retail associate and stylist.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Salon Manager or Retail Store Manager in the beauty industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on customer service and communication.
  • Demonstrated sales and revenue growth experience, with knowledge of beauty products and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with salon and retail store operations, including inventory management and merchandising.
